Anson Morris (formerly of the Specs), Mike Howland, Matt Scruggs (both formerly of Flies With Honey) and Chris Samulski (classically trained violinist) are Broken Mouth Annie. The band came together in late November 2010 and quickly began recording at their Whaleyville, VA practice space. "We Write Love Songs" is a darkly satirical journey which illustrates the band's Americana, Alt-Country, Grunge, Punk and PBR roots.
